Welcome to Preschool 2020-2021. I am pretty sure that you need no reminder that this year will be one for “the books.” We watch the news, wring our hands, and then do our best to maintain our homes and provide for our families. So, I sincerely thank you for trusting us to send your child to our classrooms.
We have implemented a “Reopening Plan” and review and update it as needed. We have a major focus on the safety and health of each child and staff member. If you have had a child enrolled in our program in the past, you know that we have always had an intense cleaning plan and have added to this plan to provide an even safer environment through this pandemic. Our custodians are ready to meet the extra challenge brought in by this pandemic. Our teaching staff have worked diligently to provide top notch educational practices even virtually as needed. Our family advocates are ready to help you with your struggles. Our community partners have many things to offer the families in our community.
I know first-hand the stress and anxiety that families are experiencing at this time. Please know that we want to show, and support, abounding compassion and love for our families. We want to support you as we make our way through this cloudy time in all our lives. Please, please get involved in the services we offer.
The services support family needs through financial, academic, nutrition, and mental health trainings. Especially now, it is crucial to maintain good mental health. So, please participate in the mental health events that we offer and keep in touch with your Family Advocate. She’s there to support your family!
Remember, we are in this together. We are more than conquerors.
