Prerequisites:

Materials Needed: Poster board, clothespins with students names on them.
Technology:
Activity: Make a small graph with thirty equal lines drawn across about a ten inch wide poster
board.(leaving room at the top of graph to draw two small pictures) Draw a lunch tray on
the upper left hand side and a lunch box on the upper right hand side of the graph. Each
morning have students put his/her clothespin under the picture that shows whether or not
he/she will eat a tray lunch or a box lunch. Ask if there are more or less students eating a
tray lunch then there are lunch box lunches. This also lets the teacher see who is absent
and gives a class lunch report.
