Materials Needed:
Margarine containers with dot labels, counting objects
Technology: Counters and Sums
Activity:
Have the child count the dots on the label of each container and then count out either the
same, less, or more objects to put in the pot. The child should be able to tell whether the
amount in the cup is the same, more, or less than what is represented on the label.
Theme Ideas:
Children could use a variety of counters to fit many different themes. (cereal, Teddy Grahams,
pasta, etc.)
