Technology: Pattern Blocks

Activity: Introduce the shapes: circle, square and triangle by using the shape cards. Read the M&M Counting Book and talk about shapes and colors. Give each student a small container of different shape crackers and give them three paper plates; one with each shape drawn one it. Ask students to sort the crackers in the appropriate plate. You can extend this activity by having students count the circle shapes and etc. Students can eat the crackers for snack time.
