ACTIVITY:

The students will be asked to compute and compare prices of various cameras and camera equipment in order to find the "best deal". They will also be asked to factor in a 5% sales tax.

THEME IDEAS:

This concept can be adapted to any theme or unit of study. Students can work in cooperative groups in order to provide modifications for special students. Enrichment activities could involve students using local newspaper advertisements to find the "best deals".
