Activity:

Fraction Bar handouts for students, transparency for teacher. Have students cut out and separate each set of bars. Teacher will use transparencies of same materials and work with students initially on questions from the "Using the Fraction Bars Transparency" worksheet. Teacher will develop other questions to be used with the created materials.
