Measure It
Activity:
Students work in pairs to trace each other. Next, the Pair will use a measuring tape to
record the metric and Standard length of each child. The children can then compare
their measurements to find shorter and taller. Now, they will measure head to toe and
arm span to decide if their body shapes are squared or rectangled. After measuring
length children weigh in metric and standard. They compare and record their weights.
Last, they display body tracings with recorded information in the hall for all to view.
