Attendance Policy and Points
1st Absence: 5 points deducted (Total Attendance Grade: 15 points)
2nd Absence: 5 points deducted (Total Attendance Grade: 10 points)
3rd Absence: 5 points deducted (Total Attendance Grade: 5 points)
4th Absence: 5 points deducted (Total Attendance Grade: 0 points)
5th  or more Absences: Full  20 point deduction & mandatory final exam
 
Make-up Work Policy:
Students are responsible
for finding out what assignment they missed through a classmate or the teacher. With an excused absence, the assignment must be turned in no later than 1 week from the missed class period. Assignments will not be accepted beyond the one-week "grace period" with an excused absence. With unexcused absences, the assignment due date will be at professor's discretion.
